PRACTICAL INFORMATION

General:

Wearing an automatic life jacket is compulsory.  Its use is included in the price.
Shoes with black soles are out of the question.  If you do not have boat shoes, you can use sports shoes.
Provide clothing for all weather conditions, it is best to provide several layers.  You can adjust to the wind chill during the trip.

Elise‘s skipper can refuse entry to a person or persons who, in his or her opinion, represent a danger/risk to safe navigation (non-exhaustive example: apparent state of intoxication).

Of course, always by mutual agreement, but it is the captain who makes the final decision on the destination.

Day trips:

A maximum of 12 people can join for a half-day or one-day sailing trip.  If you want a trip or event with more than 12 people, contact us, we will provide you with a quote for several boats.

On a day trip you can embark from 9 am, on an afternoon trip from 1.30 pm.  After embarkation on board, you will be given a short briefing and safety instructions by the skippers.

Between 5pm and 6pm, your wonderful experience at sea is over.

Multi-day trips:

Maximum 8 people (4 cabins) for these trips.
There is a mandatory surcharge per cabin booked. This hotel package includes: bed linen, duvet, towels, flannels and final cleaning.  If you want a multi-day trip with e.g. 6 people, you can choose whether you book 3 or 4 cabins.

Wind, current and tide determine the departure time on these trips!  Sometimes a port is not accessible at low tide.  So we may have to leave early on the first day.  In that case, you can embark the night before, by mutual agreement, between 8 and 9 pm.  Luggage and provisions unpacking, safety instructions, introduction and briefing will be over by then.

It is best to bring your personal luggage in a sports bag or similar.  Hard suitcases are very difficult to store on board.
