Elise is a Beneteau 64 (64 feet, just under 20 metres) with elegant lines and a stunningly luxurious interior. The boat was designed by Bruce Farr and Pininfarina drew for the deck layout and interior. The result is a high-performance sailing vessel of unprecedented luxury.
The powerful hull, ingenious sail plan (210m2) and winglet bulb keel ensure exceptional performance and sailing pleasure.
The deck is functional, ergonomically designed. The double cockpit allows for a “VIP” area for relaxed cruising and a second area for the active crew.
The interior layout is mahogany-clad, dark wood floor and fresh cream upholstery in the saloon. On the port side a spacious functional galley, ideal for longer trips! Elise is equipped with 5 separate double bedrooms , 4 bathrooms with shower and toilet and 2 separate shower cabins.
Home port is Ostend: the Mercatordok. Berth 10A right opposite the station. Easy to reach by public transport!

Hans, owner-skipper
Hans Monstrey has over 25 years of sailing experience.
Elise is his fourth sailing yacht, so he can compare! With these yachts, he has circumnavigated the North Sea, made longer trips (including to the Baltic Sea, Norway and Denmark) and visited the British coasts many times. His previous sailing vessel had a berth in the Mediterranean for many years.
Hans brought Elise to Ostend in 2019. In 2020, he successfully passed all exams and practical tests for the "STCW Master Commercial Yachting 200GT" certificate. With this, he is regulation-compliant to guide all commercial trips, including beyond Belgian territorial waters.
Chris, co-skipper
Chris has more than 20 years of sailing experience on his ship Calypso.
The home port of this Dehler Optima98AK used to be the Goesse Sas, base for many trips on the Oosterschelde, Grevelingen, Haringvliet, standing mast route and IJsselmeer. From 2010, he started exploring the North Sea and the French coast with Hilde, moving to Ostend in 2012.
In 2019, he accompanies Elise from Spain to Ostend. In Alicante, he met Hans and they have been inseparable ever since, not only for sailing with Elise, but also for the many maintenance works and chores on board.
Chris is licensed as a Yachtman.
Hilde, co-skipper
Hilde's sailing career started in 2007 with the first trips from Goes with the Calypso.
Navigating and planning sailing trips, she learns during voyages to the Normandy coasts.
When Elise gets her permanent home in Ostend, she is immediately enthusiastic about guiding trips and charters and taking on all sailing tasks.
She also assists Hans with web design, event organisation and mail traffic.
